sometimes I am trapped

I trap myself

afraid

achy

exhausted by the speed and lethargy of my thoughts

a breath of fresh air is needed

fresh

clean

unobstructed

my eyes need changing

fresh

clean

unobstructed by the lies I’ve told myself

unworthy

incapable

a liar

all untrue and I know it

but it is hard to believe anything when you are trapped

by yourself alone

fakery

fraud

fortitude

all engaged to help

but all must start at the absence of an old thought
